United States Department of Education

At the beginning of each year the National PTA®and U.S. Department of Education partner for a special celebration of national Reflections Program winners. This limited panel exhibit is housed with the lobby of the Department of Education building in Washington DC and is a part of the U.S. Department of Education’s Student Art Exhibit Program. The pieces displayed are selected from among the national Reflections Program winners and include works from the categories of literature, photography, and visual arts.

The U.S. Department of Education’s Student Art Exhibit Program, under the direction of the Office of Communications and Outreach and the Office of Innovation and Improvement, features artwork created by students in U.S. and international schools, and provides students and teachers an opportunity to display creative work from the classroom in a highly public space, in order to honor this work as an effective path to learning and knowledge for all.
